As a 6+ year global-living traveler (not a tourist or vacationer) and witness of culture dilution and noise pollution everywhere; I offer a fresh perspective to capitalism and commercialism, not the or a solution, but simply a new vista point because:
Whatever got us here, won’t get us there.
#Entrepreneurialism as a mindset, is an economy of unlimited resources and an ecosystem of many perspectives that can apply to any idea in any home, room, table or town with people, not money.
When you start with passion, design for a win-win experience, build a simple, open and truthful navigation and distribution system (true accounting) that offers a la carte menu of choices (not contract or subscription) along with an elegant experience (think simplicity) putting people before profits (non-transactional); qualitative growth naturally happens via word-of-mouth (not pop up ads or buttons to press or noise pollution).
I carry the Southwest “Business Plan” with me as a solid example of entrepreneurialism - It’s tiny and simple and to the point.
An example that starts with a hopeful seed (idea) and grows a backbone (ideal) with nurturing, responsiveness and honesty. This famous plan is “contained” on a coffee stained napkin with a drawing of a triangle and 3 cities: Dallas San Antonio & Houston written in 1966.
Did the napkin (business plan) build the business?
Was it all mapped out?
Had it been done before?
All wonderful “No’s!”
Entrepreneurialism has no rules and is open for anyone with courage, character, leadership, integrity and believability.
Entrepreneurialism relies on passion, people, perspectives and purposefulness to shape, shine and support an idea.
Entrepreneurialism is a loose framework to be filled in with your essence, essential ingredients, truth, values and original vision to bring your idea to life before it can truly radiate.
We must no, no, no before we can truly know.
It’s not personal, it’s only information, so qualify your source.
Now, go find the No, NOt yet’s or NOt me’s!
